This story is fictional. I had heard through the grape vine that a group of veterans were planning to help construct some homes in the town of Newport Oregon. I just so happened to be in Coos Bay where some of the material they would need would be coming from. So I offered to take the load free of charge and not only deliver but I would stick around and help the best I could. While talking to the group of excellent men and women I couldn't help but thank them all for, not only this act of kindness but for allowing us to live under a blanket of freedom. Some may take advantage of that freedom but just always remember what it cost for you to have that freedom. Thank you all for coming to this story time and while I thank you please thank a Veteran if you know someone who is or meet one on the street.
