Freedom Planet: Carol's Adventure Mode Part 9 - Final Dreadnought 1 & 2
3Info: It is time to take on the final stage of the game which you know is divide into four parts. The struggle is pretty real in this episode...
Final Dreadnought 1: This stage is not too much more difficult on hard mode as it was already difficult enough as is. I actually find this stage to be the easiest with Carol because you are given a motorcycle at the segment where all the enemies start appearing which makes it easy to get through. Also the part with the airlocks being opened Carol's wall jumping isn't at all hindered by it. Syntax is still an easy boss. The only thing I have trouble with still is avoiding the attacks of his last transformation.
Final Dreadnought 2: This stage becomes more troublesome on hard mode. Much like Battle Glacier there aren't a whole lot of places to refill your health. Also since barriers dissolve only after one hit on hard mode it becomes even more important to try and be careful during the no oxygen segment. (Which I do a bad job at...) Carol can totally cheese Zombie Serpentine but staying on the wall and avoiding all his attacks....which I might've did. I wasn't going to fight the boss this way but I had already gotten off to a bad start and Final Dreadnought Round 2 isn't a fun stage to have to keep replaying. I felt bad at first for cheesing this fight but after recording a non cheese fight with the boss...I realized how ridiculous Zombie Serpentine is on hard mode.
Zombie Serpentine is even faster on Hard Mode leaving very little time to attack him. If you even think about trying to get greedy you're getting hit. This however is not where the ridiculousness comes in. The ridiculous part of the fight is when he's almost dead. He becomes insanely fast that it's really hard to get in attacks on him and his attacks begin overlapping each other...My non cheese fight with him took two minutes and the last minute was spent trying to finish him off! I'm just glad to have beaten this boss...
