This goes over setting up FreeNAS Smart Tests and Scrubs. These tests help ensure our data stays reliable and helps alert us to early failure signs. Scrubs checks the used data on the hard drive, while SMART tests verify the integrity of the entire drive. Both these tests ensure your drives run smoothly and usually gives you time to replace a drive failure.

Add Scrub
-Select Volume
-Set Threshold (Recommend 14 days)
-Select Run Time (Recommend 3 AM)
-Select Days of the Month (Sundays)

Add Smart Tests
-Long SMART Test
-Select all the disks except SSD/USB drives
-Type Short SMART Tests
-Select Run Time (Recommend 12 AM)
-Select Days of the Month (Saturdays)
