Freespace 2 - As Lightning Fall
6This is the fourth mission of the Special Operations Command loops of Freespace 2. Lieutenant Commander Snipes is alive! He was aboard the NTC Alexandria when it ran our jump node blockade into the nebula. Attacked by Shivans, he and a few other survivors boarded the transport docked to the cruiser, the NTT Grall, and fled deeper into the nebula along with a few fighters before being disabled. Snipes has information critical to the Alliance, so we're going in. Flying a wing of Erinyes heavy fighters, we must infiltrate a volatile part of the nebula, with nebular storms scrambling our sensors, and follow the line of navigation buoys Snipes left behind him to his transport. Once he's found we must call in our own recovery craft and cover the extraction.
