Freespace 2: Pilot - Deep Reconnaissance
4This is the second mission of the second part of the Lightning Marshal campaign anthology for Freespace 2, Pilot. The NTD Liberty has taken refuge in the Deneb asteroid belt. It has been located, but fleet assets are not immediately available to attack. Instead, using a modified Ulysses fighter, we are to approach and scan the Liberty and any other targets in her environs while Beta and Gamma wings conduct a feint to distract the NTF from interception.
Unlike most other content in this series, this is a blind first play. I never played this campaign when I first picked up Freespace years ago.
