This is the tenth mission (I know I said ninth in the track, I lost count) of Descent: Freespace - The Great War. The Shivan cruiser Taranis has been interfering with our operations in Ikeya. Several previous operations have weakened the cruiser, but it has conducted repairs and is now launching a counterattack. Command wants to capture the cruiser, and we have only a small window of opportunity before it moves further into Terran-held systems.


Inconsistency: The briefing animation shows that the only jump node out of Ikeya goes to Ribos, but the jump node in the mission is labeled Beta Cygni. Tombaugh Station is also in Ribos. I can't account for that.
