FridAy-QWorlds - June 5th - Tournament of Heroes
0Not only was this release entertaining and not completely broken like last week's, but it was even SHORT! It took less than 60 minutes to record this!
Today we cover:
- The Sizzling Summer Shop is here! Surfboard, sunglasses, swimwear, and... superheroes! In other words there's also the Summer Blockbuster LTS for movies like Age of Ultron! There WERE going to be Jurassic World-themed items as well, but Laken had a personal emergency and had to leave before finishing the set, so expect it later!
- On the subject of shops, there's a special Artist Showcase Shop this week: Deuce, a guest artist on EpicDuel! He has three items in the "Showcase Shop," and more to come in the near future!
- And finally, the Dragonsworn rares from last week's disaster will stay in the game until July 6th!
- The winner of the I Can Haz Mod contest, Noobstine, wished for..... an Undead Goat class. Because why not? So that's what everyone holding the Golden Cheezburger will get later this month when they release it! Of course, there's still gonna be a prize for all of the "winners" who DIDN'T have the cheezburger!
- After Artix's living dungeon sneak peek, now Beleen has given a spoiler (without permission, even!) on what one of her releases will be... Chaos Queen Beleen!
- AE went through the game and made a list of any Rares shops that they've forgotten to remove, so all of those shops are gone now!
- Next week is a release that will tie together the Fotia storyline from way back in 2012 and the current Dage's Betrayal storyline!
- As part of tonight's release, you can talk to Gjappy in the HeroLobby and read the backstories of 15 more winners of the Write a Backstory contest! 35 more winners will be added eventually, but it looks like the 15 that are actually in the Tournament aren't going to be joined by anymore and I just misunderstood the original Design Notes post!
- Tournament of Heroes! 15 players-turned-NPC and 1 NPC-not-turned-into-anything are waiting for challengers at the coliseum! Surprisingly not a single one of them has an ugly number in their name so they almost sound like real names! Fight intimidating people such as Stealthycupcake and Matthew The Dark!
