This is a look at playing as Part 4 Jason on Jarvis House map, and how to be effective as Jason.

Here are 10 tips to being an effective Jason:

#1.) Trap the phone fast. Keep pressure from start to finish. This forces panic right off the bat. This is where counselors make mistakes.

#2.) Maintain constant pressure on all objectives. This keeps counselors moving, and forces fear to stay constant.

#3.) Take out doors and power boxes as you go. This minimizes time taken to break down doors, and taking out power boxes causes the fear mechanic in counselors to rise.

#4.) Killing high repair characters as a priority. Counselors such as Mitch, Deborah, AJ, LaChappa, and Adam should be top priority as they can fix objectives quickly. Tommy is the wild card. Killing him quickly is a bonus.

#5.) Be relentless. Don't stop with the pressure. Remember: Counselors have stamina, you don't.

#6.) Don't Tunnel. This will waste time and abilities before next full regeneration to take out counselors at vital moments. Quickly switch gears to easy prey.

#7.) Chase down parts runners before they get to objectives. Chasing down parts runners forces a "Fight or Flight" scenario pushing a counselor to think clearly under duress. This can also lead to counselors taking parts further away from objectives out of fear, and allows Jason to kill them in open spaces forcing other counselors to spend more time looking for lost parts.

#8.) When counselors attempt to team up against you.. Slashing is your friend no matter what. Counselors will have a sense of fearlessness in a grouped environment which also puts multiple counselors into close proximity. You're Jason, tear them apart, and remind them of that.

#9.) Grab often and take hits from pocket knives as early as possible. In each match counselors can only find a total of 5 pocket knives. If a counselor comes back as Tommy Jarvis the 6th, and final pocket knife is introduced. The less pocket knives Jason has to worry about later in the match the less of a chance counselors have for having clutch escape moments. Counselors also tend to be less brave without procket knives.

#10.) When Tommy and a counselor with the sweater are near by; gauge what weapons they have. If your mask is still on or off, and they don't have melee weapons you need to take out the counselor with the sweater at all costs first fast. When you eliminate the unlucky victim with the sweater, or Tommy you eliminate the "Kill Jason" scenario. This then allows you to clean house regardless of where your mask is.
