Frithgar's Working Holiday, Day 5
68I went on holiday for two weeks and spent it driving an excavator. It's a Case CX130D, it's brand new and around 12 ton in weight. Small by most standards, but the biggest one I've ever used!
The project is building an area of hard standing for horses so they've got a way to get out of the mud in the winter without having to be shut up inside all the time.
Until I started on this I've only really driven mini diggers so there will be lots of mistakes and poor practices, feel free to give pointers...
A few more holes to be dug, lots of real time digging because I've got a nice lot of footage of digging stone and water. The combined sound is one that I really love, so I'll let you all experience it as well!
