Juan “Hungrybox” DeBiedma had the passion to turn Super Smash Bros: Melee into a way of life.

Since his breakout in 2009, Hungrybox was one of the most successful – and most polarizing – players in Melee, partially because of his intense attitude and controversial character.

But Hungrybox pushed through the haters to become one of the best players in the world; so good he could dedicate his entire life to the game. He quit his job to focus full-time on Melee.

But a few years later, some soul-searching took him back to a day job. And yet, Hungrybox worked harder than ever to return to the top. And that meant taking yet another step into the unknown.
