The Rock Cruiser Type B (Shivan) starts with a very unique weapon, the Heavy Piercing Laser. It functions similarly to a normal Heavy Laser Mk I, except this version pierces one level of enemy shields. This makes it a very decent weapon for the first sector, however it is easily outclasses by other weapons in later sectors. This ship also starts with no door system, so invaders, fires, and breaches are a constant concern.
