We had a lot of fun checking out the Multiverse mod 2 weeks ago, so let's check out some more of the crazy ships in this extensive mod! The latest version of the mod added a new race that any FTL player will be familiar with: Giant Alien Spiders! These crew have a crazy mechanic where you can't control them except when you activate their special ability. Otherwise, they're controlled by the AI, which is SUPER weird! It takes a while to get used to, but right as I do, we run into an event that is COMPLETELY imbalanced in sector 3. I talk about the crazy event for the last portion of the stream and the devs are (apparently) changing it because of this, but this run gets completely REKT by an event that will (hopefully) not be such an OP blindside to future players.
