I stumbled across FTL during its closed beta, and grabbed it pretty quickly afterwards. I played it a few times shortly after getting it and dip back in from time to time. Now is one of those times, and it seems like it's had a lot of upgrades since. I like the changes, and new the way to unlock ships, so I might be dipping in occasionally. We'll see.

Anyway, taking out the Federation Cruiser Layout A, also known as the Osprey, is a lot of fun. It has the artillery beam, which is very silly when maxed out, and can let you take the boss without cloaking (at least, on easy).
