You have to manually count Chase Units for the first launch. Start from 50. Every connected attack and subtract 2 from it. Every boss action and every non attack action and add 1 to it. Once it drops to 0, you'll see the prompt for the launch. Prepare your team brv for the launch when you're close to 0 chase units.

Be sure to make the first natural launch after dropping diabolos health below 80%. A surefire way to drop it quickly is use a single sherlotta s2.

Another note is to maximize free turn usage by extending Vayne's free turns using Sazh. Even lotta has free turn advantages by guaranteeing a strong battery before doing any action. Also, at least use every Sazh skill 2 before the battle ends.

I've used Diabolos summon for the strong ibrv boost which really helps with the brv regen.
