I have no idea how popular Clockwork Knight for the Sega Saturn was when it was released in 1994 (1995 for the international market) but somehow I got my hands on it and it became one of my favorite games during my childhood. I don't think I ever actually made it all the way through to the end, so, coming back to beat it today is an accomplishment that would make my younger self very happy.

I'm sure I missed plenty of secrets (and I'd love to hear about them in the comments) but I was playing by muscle memory and, honestly, it's kinda mind-blowing that it felt like no time had passed at all since I last played this game.

Editor's note: You have the opportunity to play Soltian Roulette more than once but it is a gambling mechanic that doesn't interest me so I skipped it after the first time.
