Welcome back youtube, with today's video, I am doing a reevaluation (or re-review) of the Indie Videogame Startide for the Nintendo Switch.
This game is a top down game in a similar style to Gradius or R-Type, with 9 different mechs you can unlock, with each their own strengths and weaknesses. The main draw of the game is you only face one big boss per round, and each boss is pseudo randomly generated.
Overall, This game is fun, with fine graphics and music, and a great selection of mechs and special powers to chose from. However, there are a couple of annoying issues and one unforgivable flaw, that drags the score way down.
If there is ever a patched issued for the nintendo switch port, I will update the score accordingly.
