System shown: 486DX2-66 on Elitegroup ECS-UM486V-AIO VLB Mainboard, 8 MB RAM, Diamond Stealth 64 VRAM with MPEG accelerator module, Seagate Elite9 Series HDD, Plextor PX-40TS CD-ROM drive.

The module is able to decode MPEG1 CIF videos using the C-Cube CL-450. This is 320x240 at 30 fps or 352x288 at 25 fps with data rates of 1.2 to 3 MBit/s. It decodes Audio as well in hardware with a Ti DSP and scales the video to the target resolution (also in Hardware).
