not sure how many people this may help but I thought I would put this up anyway. Ive never had this problem with my sega st-v titan board before with my game carts (other issues with hardware, yes) but with funky head boxers I was never able to get the game to start up. I thought of every issue it could have been except for the really easy one that didnt seem to make sense at the time but by changing the system assignments cab type to 1p the game will start. if the cab type is on 2p,3p, or 4p the game will not start as it is a game that can be linked to other cabs. After messing around with the sega lindbergh and finding out how touchy the hardware can be if it doesnt have 1 thing connected that it is supposed to have it will always throw up an error i just tried this.and it was the same case as well. st-v hardware errors can be caused by simple things such as a dirty cart, a bad super capacitor, the wrong region bios, lifted legs on the cpu, and something as simple as having the cabinet on 2 players when it will only accept 1 player. always try the easy stuff first. some game play following soon.
