Fury Unleashed - Legendary Mode Completion - 100% All Rooms
28Phew, insanely difficult challenge!
Legendary mode is the final difficulty, and is the jump between casuals and hardcore players. Only 0,1% have completed it, according to the PSN trophies! What a brutal game!
What's the difference between Legendary and the other modes? Simple, on Legendary you don't have any upgrades at all. You are level 1 through the entire game! It's insane!
And, it probably wouldn't be that bad if you didn't start with 100 HP. This is, literally, couple of hits before death. And there's no real way to increase it, unless you do some equilibristics with the risk-reward offerings (as I do in the video at 9:33). Bosses are absolutely relentless and, in order to survive, you have to learn their patterns pretty well. Game feels a bit like bullet hell at points.
However, the game is excellent π! In fact, it's one of the best roguelikes I've played. Super tight controls, fair (with couple of exceptions), very well designed and very challenging bosses, doesn't overstay it's welcome. It truly is one of the better modern run and guns, imo. Why it isn't popular is a mystery to me!
If you like roguelikes, try it. But, beware, the game is extremely demanding and skill based.
