And they finished it off with a bland space battle and quite possibly the slowest scene in the history of video games.

I did not like G String. The story was threadbare at best, completely incoherent at worst. The gameplay was all the worst aspects of Half-Life 2's combat, with a reskinned arsenal and smaller set of enemies. The environments, the game's strongest point, felt like you put a bunch of other dystopian sci-fi settings in a blender and this is what popped out. The level design was often incredibly obtuse, and rarely interesting (some set pieces aside). I cannot recommend this game.
