With the overhaul of PlayStation Plus, you may now have the Extra or Premium tiers that give you hundreds of games to play. I'm here to try out some of the smaller publisher or indie games to see if any of them are hidden gems that you should check out. I'll rate games by a thumbs up or down system to suggest that you should check it out.

Gabbuchi is a devlish little puzzle game from the Japanese indie developer h.a.n.d. and published by Aksys games. It's about gobbling up like-colored blocks and other bits to fill up Gabbuchi while eating a heart to end the stage. There are two bonus goals per stage and it has some tricky techniques up its sleeves to make these puzzles very challenging, which leads to a fun completion screen where you get some nice clapping that changes based on how well you did to complete the goals. I got some BoxBoy! vibes from this game, which is one of the best puzzle platformers around.
