Gaiarm is an interesting Missle Command-esque kinda game from Violet Heart Software. You control a robot and shoot beams to destroy missiles and stop them from hitting your base/tools. You use the mouse to play this game...and I don't have a mousepad and my mouse space is very limited (I have it sitting on top of my CPU tower), so the mouse tends to jump around a lot as I move the mouse around and lift it up to readjust it. You use energy to upgrade your firepower as well as heal your Gaiarm robot and repair damaged facilities. The game quickly jumps in difficulty, but it's a fairly solid game with decent music (what little there is) and visuals. You can create barrier towers (Defense) to protect your facilities, mega launchers (Offense) to fire shots that explode with a wider radius (the shot # is limited, but can be upgraded) and places that can give you more energy when a mission is completed (assuming they survive the round)...among other things.

This video just goes through one stage.
