These are over-engineered cards with a very specific design and purpose. The HOF cards have always been designed to break world records. The company has recently unveiled its RTX 5090 HOF design, more specifically the PCB design, as the air cooler wasn't shown yet. GALAX usually ships these boards to overclockers prior to launch, who are not using air-coolers anyway, because extreme overclocking typically involves liquid nitrogen or liquid helium. GALAX has already launched its RTX 5080 HOF series, which, unlike the RTX 5090 cards, can be sold globally without any restrictions. The RTX 5090 and RTX 5090D are a bit more complex, as they also involve power limits to ensure such GPUs are not sold to restricted regions.
