On your galaxy note 5 you can assign a ringtone to a contact by first going into the phone app on your phone. Once your in the phone app find the contact you want to assign a custom ringtone to and click on him or her. Next click edit and then click another field at the bottom. Then find the ringtone option and click on it and add the custom ringtone you want for that contact.
