Galley Chaining 4 Treasures to Amsterdam in a SINGLE TURN
Visual Description: The majority of the screen is taken up by gameplay footage of Sid Meier's Civilization III. The principle of galley chaining is visually demonstrated on-screen. There is webcam footage of the woman playing in the bottom right-hand corner of the video. There is a photograph of a field of dandelions used as a general background below all the other layers.
Description: This clip is from when I played the Sid Meier's Civilization III Conquest 6: Age of Discovery. I was playing on Regent difficulty and (after going random) was assigned the Dutch. I utilized galley chaining heavily this game, which I feel gave me a significant advantage over the AI. I wanted to show you an example of the power of galley chaining. Note: Technically I used Carracks, but the principle of galley chaining applies to pretty much any boat that can transport units in Civ III.
Note: This was a "highlights" video that I made on twitch from my "Sid Meier's Civilization III: Conquest 6 Age of Discovery" livestream. It may still be visible here: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1861242720
