And we are back in the dark corners of Von Braun in System Shock 2!
This time, we get lost and then blocked by a mind-boggling mechanic.
So this game really does have the game design of it's time indeed as the game kinda gets us lost for half an hour cause it names a location by something that its not actually called as on the map.
Honestly, the map in this game is one of the best but also worst features. The map both being very small and not very obvious, yeah, you can get confused and lost a lot. Map features is something we have really improved in gaming a lot.
I mean, just look at something like Prey by Arkane, which might as well be System Shock 3. Perfect map system.
And to top it all off, the game then expects me to buy a plot critical item that costs like 150 nanites... right after I bought ammo and saved over my save before it.
Like, why would the devs not make this free or something reasonable like 20 nanites?
Well, I am gonna be forced to literally grind nanites on hybrids before the next session cause spawning items breaks the game cause its held together by duct tape.
Boy, this one is gonna be spicy.
