It is time to finish DOOM 2 as we venture into the final levels of the game.

So yeah this it we have finished Doom 2 on UV difficulty. It was quite an experience.

Except for a couple final levels, I actually had tons of fun with the game. It was actually slightly surprising that the game still holds up pretty well in current day, especially with level design and general fun factor. Should probably replay it next year again.

Doom 2 is all a sequel should be. Makes everything faster, bigger and throws in a few new mechanics to keep things fresh. Its Doom 1, just better.

Also, I know what I did in the Icon of Sin fight. Honestly, I was just getting a little bit tired and impatient. Not to mention I do honestly think that it's not exactly the best designed boss in history. Kinda just wanted to get it over with. Prefer bosses that test everything you have learned through the game. Not a boss that has a tiny-arse hole in it's forehead that you have to surgically lob rockets into till it sorta decides to lose.

The game start extremely strongly, gets better through the mid-game and it ended with a thud. At least for me.

But that's honestly a common problem with a lot of games. 95%-ish of the game is still 10/10 experience though.
