Game spotlight - Ori and the Blind Forest!
0Most weeks, on Wednesdays I'll be trying to put up a spotlight of usually half an hour on a game I have never previously tried. We (Dave and I) will fire up the game with no prior knowledge, basically going into it blind and learning as we go. This week's selection is Ori and the Blind Forest, a game that was gifted to me by a kind friend as way of thanks for my work in support of Rising World - a fantastic sandbox game worth a look, if you haven't checked it out yet.
In Ori, there's a definite story arc you're cast upon and an overwhelming feeling of somber sadness in the game. This is partly conveyed through the story, partly through the art style. The controls are intuitive and the game is absolutely gorgeous.
