Gamecube Composite Video vs RGB Scart (PAL)

* * *

Hey guys, this is just a video showing the difference between Composite output from a PAL Gamecube and RGB scart. I'd show S-Video too but sadly those PAL Gamecube consoles never got S-Video cable support because Scart was so dominant in Europe and could carry a composite, S-Video, or RGB signal! I compared three games, and the differences varied. Older consoles generally handle Composite video WAY worse with terrible dot-flow, but the Gamecube actually puts out a surprisingly clean Composite output for most stuff. Colours are a lot stronger on RGB Scart. I didn't colour correct this video, but I do think somewhere in the chain, my RGB might he been overblowing the contrast a little. In my next video I'll show a Sega Saturn which shows DRAMATIC improvement in RGB scart. Particularly in 2D titles like Sonic Jam.
