Hello folks! 😉 This is a long one, so strap in. This is, I hope, #beginner friendly, but there might be something interesting in it for advanced users too.
In this video I'm looking at #trees in video games, how they are made and looking at various methods like ultra low poly, hand painted, sculpted variant, where the treetop is a simple color, painted or distributed with particle system or placed by hand. 🌳🌴
I hope some of these methods will give you some insight on tree-making. If it does, show me down in the comments what have you made! I love to see what other people come up with.
