GameMaker Studio 2 Dress Up game tutorial announcement
4Finally something else then Scratch ?!?!
Yup, we are starting to explore new engines and in this video today it's going to be Game Maker Studio.
Or to be more precise it's just an announcement of tutorial for Dress Up game made in it, but it's a start.
We are going to use drag and drop approach in Game Maker and leave code typing for some other, later tutorials.
It would be easier to start that way and also it's easier for us to start with something we know already, so that's why we picked Dress Up game as challenge.
Yes it may sound boring to go through it again, but it is going to be great example how same ideas and problems are solved in different game engines.
So, if you knew how to make that game in Scratch it can be interesting to see how it relates to Game Maker.
Because you can not stay forever in Scratch if you think about becoming serious game developer in long term.
So stay tuned we are going to make some games in Game Maker Studio asap !!!
