Dean Takahashi of GamesBeat and his daughter Danielle Takahashi created a spoilercast explaining the story and greatest moments of The Last of Us Part II. This runs more than a half hour and it includes many of the cinematics and gameplay moments that are seared into our minds. These are some gut-wrenching scenes that aren't for the feint of heart.

The story and the others that accompany it are kind of our salve for the PTSD you can feel playing this game. It is about the most memorable scenes of the game, starting with the bookend nature of the beginning and ending of the last game. We played it a couple of times. Our aim in talking about this so long after the game came out is to address the spoilers in the story and help people process what they’ve already played. It’s a hard game to get through, and talking about it may help us, and help us understand why it’s not just another zombie game. This is an epic story for the ages. This is an expansion if you will to the interview I’ve posted with Halley Gross, narrative lead at Naughty Dog on the game. Halley was very good at telling me what these characters were thinking and what drives them to do what they do.
