Die gamescom fand in diesem Jahr zum ersten Mal digital statt. Keine Trips nach Köln mit Freunden, keine langen Warteschlangen, nix zum Anzocken und keine überteuerten Würstchen mit Pommes. Die Gamescom verlagerte ihr Programm auf Twitch und YouTube und sortierte das ganze unter Namen gamescom now fein säuberlich in einer Webseite ein. Trailer, Gameplay Präsentationen, Talks mit Entwicklern und Haufenweise anderer Content wurde von Freitag bis Samstag in den Äther geblasen aber wer soll da noch durchblicken? Und gab es in all dem Content-Chaos auch genug Ankündigungen, um die News-hungrigen Gamer zufriedenzustellen?
