A few weeks ago the somewhat Strangely named GameSir company reached out to our channel and sent us a GameSir G3s mobile phone and PC controller to review. Having given up trying to play Metal Slug on my phone due to how horrendous capacitive screens are for old games we took them up on there offer and put the Game Pad to the test !

GameSIR Positives

- Inexpensive
- Nice design comfortable to hold
- Nice analog sticks + triggers with good throw on them
- Good D pad !
- Good quality buttons
- Sturdy phone holder
- Comes with wireless dongle
- Connects to phone over blue tooth
- PC sees it as Xbox 360 controller
- Light
- Good rumble motors

GameSIR Negatives

- Could not get mouse mode to work
- A bit top heavy with phone in holder ( My phone is a brick though)
- Instructions can be confusing at first
- Not as solid feeling as Top of the line official controllers
- Changing mode can sometimes be a bit fiddly

Final verdict

A fantastic game-pad to use with your phone, or as a spare to keep in your bag for when you go to friends houses to play games.
