GameStop 2.0 - let's look at some GameStop concept models. Board Games, LAN Parties, what's next?
Major credit to Josh Nelson from Bleeding Cool for heading out to Tulsa, OK where he visited some of the new "GameStop 2.0" stores. It seems like each store is trying something new in an attempt to win back some (rightfully so) jaded customers. Some are pure LAN dens, some are board-game hangouts, and some are hybrids of each. I thought it'd be fun to compare these to the wildly popular Apple and Microsoft store models, and to guess as to what might work and why.
