Gaming on Linux EP#36 Part 2: Optimizing Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered | Steam | Proton | RX6600 XT
After seeing many reports of poorer than expected performance on Linux, I reviewed a few optimization guides, and decided to test for myself if they work. You can squeeze some additional FPS out without sacrificing too much visual quality, but it seems the game itself is the issue here. Some settings seem to not really make a difference, and performance varies from scene to scene, and even sessions in my experience.
