Garry's Mod in a Nutshell
Hello! I haven't got a lot to say. I do like the end result but I could've drawn everything better. Especially the main character, Kleiner, who looks rather unpolished.
Despite the video making Gmod's flaws very clear, I don't have any strong opinions about the game. It is filled to the brim with glitches, but that's mostly on Valve for making the Source engine so fundamentally broken. Gmod is a fun game as long as you have good mods installed and don't have your expectations too high, and frankly I can't wait for s&box to continue Gmod's legacy.
Also, I tried out a new editing program called "Lightworks". Its selling point is that many movie makers used it, and I can see why. I only have the free version and even now it works like a charm. Good performance, powerful editing and fast exporting. It's a bit gimmicky because it sorta edits every layer at once unless you disable the other layers. But it's still way better than Blender. But I'm afraid even the free version is on a timed trial, because it needs to be "activated" and there's a countdown of 5 days on the main menu. I'm not sure what to do after it runs out, because I'm not really up to paying like 15€ a month for my non-profit Youtube channel.
There are some flaws like the killfeed skull being the wrong color but let's call them artistic liberties instead of me not realizing how to change it. The combines don't say anything because the sounds have an incorrect bit rate or something so Lightworks makes them REALLY bass boosted.

What's next? I'm thinking about making a stickfight style battle animation and after that more game videos probably.
