3Big big limb down in Green Hills Estates.
Doesn't appear to be rotten but I'm not a real arborist, I only mow grass. Also there wasn't even a breeze today. Heavy storms every day for a month preceding today, but nothing today.
It would appear it just got tired of hanging out there and snapped. Like a postal employee.
Many, many thousands of pounds of wood there. It's what we Floridiots affectionately call a "Piss Oak". Some call it a water oak.
Basically a weed tree. Grows fast, has a 30-50 year lifespan, then they become hazards.
