3Let's Play Gauntlet for the NES, requested by smittycw.
I was 99% sure that the elf doesn't get faster with the speed pickup. I was wrong! Even though the elf starts with a speed of 5, which is the maximum starting value, it can still be increased. I suppose the same is true for for other characters who start with stats of 5. If that's true, then the magic pickup (which I already have) still improves the wizard's magic power.
