Gauntlet: Dark Legacy [PS2] - 39 - Your Worst Nightmare
Moving on to Your Worst Nightmare. I think the game is trying to imply that that is being eaten, but I'm not sure. ...and uhh, if the creators only knew. I mean, it's not my thing at all, but some people are kind of into that.
ANYWAY, the stage itself is actually pretty fun. I know it's kind of straightforward, but I had a blast fighting through it. The rockin' soundtrack helped with that a bit. It was something I immidiately noticed about the stage. Acid Swamp and Ghost Town were previous standouts, but this stage might have my favorite soundtrack now.. hard to say.
Also, I switched two areas of the stage to make things more consistent. After riding the piston up towards the runestone (which I didn't know was there), I backtracked to go down the ramp towards the fan. When I saw the stage just kind of kept going that direction, I backtracked again to go back up the piston.. which led to the runestone. I would then have to backtrack yet again to continue on with the stage proper.
Instead of doing all that backtracking as it happened, I went the route of stitching the stage together in a more natural way. Once I get back towards the fan, the footage is back where it's supposed to be.
