The reason I'm angry at the beginning there is because of the Internet tanking as soon as I go live, which has been happening a lot lately. This time it was so bad that even YouTube split the stream, which is a first here. I'm looking for alternatives, but our location doesn't help. Yeah anyway, the first 13 minutes of this stream was separated into another stream video, which I unlisted, so as not to clutter the channel which a bunch of split videos. The CHAT also froze. I was not able to see any chat messages on YouTube for some reason. I only know that because someone from YouTube came to Twitch and told me. So if I didn't answer any messages here, it was not because I ignored you, I was simply not able to see them, so I assumed there was nobody there.
PS: Just figured out what happened. YouTube split the stream (which had never done before, so I didn't expect it), so the chat window I had popped out here was of the previous stream (YouTube created a new one) - hence why I got new messages, as YouTube started a new stream, with a new chat, without me being aware of it. My apologies either way if you were there.
I ordered Starlink after this stream. So hopefully, it will improve the situation and I will be able to stream in peace once it's all up and running.
My streams are laid-back. There's a lot of stopping, a lot of ranting, talking with the chat, breaks, drinking, even eating supper sometimes. If you're in a hurry, please go watch someone else that doesn't talk as much, maybe Nintendo Complete videos. Either way, my streams are not for you. I won't be changing anything, I'm having a good time as it is. Thank you.
The skips you see every now and then are not editing cuts, as this was a livestream. It's just what YouTube does whenever the connection fluctuates. Those cuts are not present in the direct capture version of this stream, as it is recorded offline and uploaded later. Also, the bitrate on YouTube doesn't seem to go higher than 3k, instead of the 7.5k when I stream on Twitch, so my apologies there. Not sure how to fix it, as YT ignores my bitrate settings from OBS using Restream.
