For points of reference I started counting the time at the 0:40 mark (the time that the playing field comes into full focus. I stopped counting at the 12:21 mark that was the instant that Dragonite was defeated.)
Upon checking my records the game says that I beat intense in 8 mins. 30 secs.

I defeated everybody in less than a minute. My strategy for this was to chain with combos, I also timed the blocks landing time and the time it takes to shift the blocks. If you match some blocks at the same exact time as the others are falling to create a chain, the game will also credit you with the combo as well.

Finally if I didn't defeat the Pokemon after my first set of chains I very quickly formed combos, chains and clear shock panels (the ! blocks) so the Pokemon didn't have time to heal.
