GBO2: Jet Stream Attack? Not Likely.... ( Attack of the Triple Dom, Zeon Side)
The current situation battle for last and this weekend is the Attack of the Triple Dom, based loosely on the fight against the Black tri-stars though with some minor changes to prevent every one year war battle just ending up as GM's and Zaku's.
The Zeon side has access to the Zaku Cannon Rabbit type, the ever iconic Gouf and Three Dom units leading to a team highly focused on close ranged combat, chaining together stuns in a tidal wave of offence.
The Zaku Cannon Rabbit Type is painfully slow, having woeful movement and boost it depends on grabbing a good vantage point to even do much of anything as it's far too vulnerable on the low ground with every single suit in the enemy line up being able to beat it in a straight up fight, it's main cannon while dealing low damage has impressive range, is fairly accurate, fires decently fast for a cannon and has a lot of ammo making it a great way to disrupt enemy movement, it's Big Gun rockets have an odd firing angle requiring you to stand on a slightly higher elevation to have any hope of hitting past your frontline but can inflict a lot of damage if you can land the shots , the smoke can be good as both a minor defence boost and as a way to reduce the odds of getting spotted while repositioning or trying to hide.
The Gouf has a rather horrible job here, you have two supports to contest and while you can potentially take them down in a single combo with the heat sword and heat rod downswings it would mean not using the rod to open either up or fend off one of the three other suits that can all easily rip you apart with the Gundam able to just take you out completely, the Armoured Gm stunning you out of the longer animations on the Downswings and the GM Ground MSV being able to wear you down while also having the option to stun you from the other side of it's ally thanks to piercing not to mention the Guntank's cannons having enough build stun to break manoeuvre armour and the Guncannon being able to hit for a lot of damage with it's cannon into rifle combo , it's a difficult time yet you have to find a way to deal with the enemy supports or at least bring them in range for the Dom's to kill so use the terrain to find ways in, make the enemy come after you and look to take chunks out of the enemy whenever you can especially with the heat rod as even the Gundam takes 4.5k damage from a downswing with it.
The Dom's don't have it quite as rough as the Gouf but can suffer any of them start to play too passively or the Gouf isn't even trying to get to the enemy supports, you can chain stuns and use the high speed to get into the enemy lines causing chaos and picking off the fragile Gm Ground MSV every opportunity before putting pressure on whatever is needed to give the Gouf the space needed to pick off a support once you gain the number advantage it's easy to use the decent melee damage and high tackle damage to overwhelm whatever is left.
