Another Gears event that they had for one day. Horde was taken over by Tickers and the amount of tickers that spawned was increased dramatically. To make it even more interesting they also added the mutator of increased explosions which could lead to some interesting and deadly situations. This is one run from that day.

The first 9 waves or so are usually your basic stuff. Nothing too hard and you can just cruise control and get ready for the first boss wave. On this map I like setting up base up on the hill as you get a good view of everything and can build up a good defense. I tend to stick to this side of the map and feel more comfortable fighting in this region as opposed to the other end.

There are a LOT of tickers. And the more explosion mutator really means you got to take them serious cause one or two sneak up on you and your down out of nowhere. In this video you see a complete fail on my part sadly. I roll away from the Savage Boomer's digger hit, roll back in and take some damage and totally forget about that and walk into my own ink grenade that exploded to down me. The Savage boomer was so kind to hit me one last time with a digger to end me and was the first time I died in the first 9 waves ever.

Some things to note: The explosions also work in your favor. Using the boomshot or even shooting a ticker near a Locust can help cause more damage and even rack up multi-kills like nothing.
