Gears 3: Ticker Madness (Beast Mode Gameplay)
19Decided to put up some Gears gameplay since I know a lot of people are into Gears right now. Instead of putting up some Versus or a playthrough of Horde I did a gameplay of Beast mode. Not only that but I decided to spice it up and ONLY use Tickers for all 12 waves.
As you will see, mixing up between the two types of tickers helps to make it a somewhat viable strategy even though at the end you don't really get that many points.
Wild Tickers- Good for starting out as in the later rounds since they can weaken the barriers and open up a pathway for your team or for you when you switch to the explosive tickers. Your job gets a lot easier if you have a Berserker on your team as they can run through the barriers and make the path more open.
Tickers- Run. Chase. Boom. That's it for being a ticker. When the heroes start coming up or on the final wave with Prescott, this becomes an issue since you can only down them with your explosion and not kill them outright. You will have to respawn and explode next to a downed hero to get the kill or clean up someone else's attempt. But it's still possible if you open up a side flank while the enemies are distracted with the bigger Locust.
All in all it was fun to just try something different instead of going for Boomers, Kantus, or even the Serapede. Hope you guys enjoy it and even try it out sometime for yourselves!
