We go over details of what looks to be a "horde" mode, that was in previous Gears of War games. The 3 players we see are in a locusts stronghold, with DeeBees taken over by the Locusts who are controlling them. The Locust have new armor pieces, and weapons (including one with protruding bones from underneath it) that can be used to "hack away" at enemies. This is all for the new escape trailer, which seems to focus on co-op and horde mode.

We didn't realize there was a gameplay trailer as well by IGN, in what appears to be a co-op mode like what is portrayed in this escape trailer. Here is the link:
