My first impressions of Gears of War Reloaded are finally here, and wow—Gears is back in a big way. In this video, I share my honest thoughts after diving into the game for the first time, covering everything from gameplay, graphics, and movement to some of the early bugs, glitches, and lag issues players are noticing.

One of the biggest things I noticed right away is the time to kill feels very quick compared to past Gears titles. The pacing is fast, the shotgun battles are brutal, and the executions hit harder than ever. Despite some rough edges, the core gameplay loop is incredible, and Reloaded feels like a return to form for the franchise.

I’ll also talk about why this release matters for the future of Gears of War multiplayer, Xbox exclusives, and even PlayStation players now that the series has expanded beyond Xbox. Reloaded is proving that Gears still has what it takes to compete in 2025.
