I'm a big fan of GeGeGe No Kitaro, the comic is such a great read.
The comic really shows off some truly bizarre story telling along with some really unique characters that all blend together to be one of the most entertaining reads you'll experience.
I'm currently trying to track down the GeGeGe No Kitaro titles that were released for the 8 and 16 bit console's and what better way to start with the Super Famicom's release of the GeGeGe No kitaro.
I did find my first play through challenging and at the same time enjoyable, sure the game is mostly all boss fights but the presentation for GeGeGe No Kitaro on the Super Famicom is fantastic and made for a really enjoyable experience.
I gotta check out the other GeGeGe No Kitaro games.
