After Tokichiro Kinoshita (later known as Hideyoshi Toyotomi in the Onimusha series as well as real life) traps Samanosuke behind a magical barrier & sinking him underground, an evil doppelganger & Nui (the servant who fainted infront of the group last time) kidnap the little boy Yumemaru & knocks Kaede, the real Samanosuke's kunoichi (female ninja) partner out. Kaede regains consciousness & sets out to find the Yumemaru & the real Samanosuke. As a ninja, Kaede is agile & can throw kunai at enemies & jump over them to slit their throat or stab them in the neck with her knife. She is also able to disarm traps & pick locks with her shinobi kit. However, Kaede is not as durable as Samanosuke & does not have an Ogre's (or Oni) gauntlet to absorb souls to regain health. She must use herbs or medicine to do so. Kaede later finds Princess Yuki in a cell in the castle's prison, but it taken away by Guildenstern (the demon scientist that Samanosuke encountered after killing the giant red demon Osric) & Kaede is forced to fight a demon who can cloak itself. Meanwhile, the real Samanosuke wakes up & battles his doppelganger & wins. He confronts the servant Nui who is actually a demon insect named Hecuba & takes Yumemaru away to the Dark Realm. #onimusha #genmaonimusha #capcom #originalxbox #xbox
