Subtitles are available in both English and German. The subtitles are smart. They have colors to help you master German grammar. There are colors to help you master the grammatical gender of German nouns using their endings. For example, Fähigkeit (ability) is feminine because it ends with -keit, so -keit will be colored in red for you to notice it.
You will also see photos for concrete nouns so you could create a direct association in your brain between the word and its visual appearance, bypassing translation.
